The Board of Appeals hears and decides on land use variance applications and administrative appeal applications (where the applicant believes a wrong decision was reached by the Code Enforcement Officer or Planning Board).

Meetings

The Board of Appeals meets only when an application for a variance or an administrative appeal has been submitted (no regularly scheduled meetings). Notification of Board of Appeals meetings and the dates, times and reasons of meeting are posted in news papers of common circulation within the town of Lovell, are posted at the Town Office and may be posted to the Town's Web Site Calendar.
